Product Manager

Viet Capital Asset Management (“VCAM”) is a fully licensed fund management company. Established in 2006, we aspire to provide financial well-being for retail and institutional investors via a diverse portfolio of investment products. Our current and upcoming mutual fund products, VCAM Balanced Fund, VCAM Discovery Fund, and VCAM Fixed Income, are open for retail investors, who can invest starting from VND 1m.

As part of our growth plan and to bring investment products, especially the aforementioned low-cost and open-end mutual funds, to Vietnamese retail investors in upcoming years, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager to have a long-termed technology role with VCAM, to expand VCAM’s technology platform, creating the best user experiences for retail investors, while overseeing all external partnership efforts, and liaising between Fund Managers (Product Owner) and Tech Teams to develop VCAM’s own backend system. This person reports directly to the CEO of VCAM.

Main Tasks / Areas of Responsibility

• Lead and execute integration plan with 3rd-party partners. Become an active role in the technical discussion with potential partners
• Drive the communications with cross functional teams (investment, marketing, development, etc.) and external stakeholders for the implementation of integration
• Be the primary liaison between internal teams and stakeholders on product decisions, technical and business requirements, and deliverables
• Map out use cases, flows, wire frames, and technical requirements for partnerships

Analyst Officer

TP Hồ Chí Minh

Main Tasks / Areas of Responsibility

1. Perform other tasks, as required by the Managing Director or other Directors of the Company under the approval of the Fund Director.
2. Partake in all aspect of launching new and managing upcoming funds, including both bonds and equities
3. Represent the Company within Vietnam and to foreign visitors, and develop relations with the market players, especially brokers, potential sourcing and deal partners
4. Contribute to the business development efforts, including observing/researching the market, and establishing of partnerships
5. In charge of Funds’ operation and execution, under the supervision of the Fund Director
6. Assist the Fund Director in the preparation of documentation for rebalancing, switch, transactions, as well buy-and-sell of securities
7. Conduct secondary research on trading portfolio’s stocks and bonds, including collecting and verifying financial information from investee companies and working with securities firms

Job qualifications, skills and experience

• Bachelor degree with distinction /master degree in financial/business/accounting Demonstrated successful business development/ marketing experience in financial service sector (fund management experience, CFA preferred).
• Fund management license is a plus. Coding skill is a plus.
• Must have extensive investment experience in Vietnam in listed equities and bonds. Strong analytical, planning, problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and excellent command of English Ability to develop and maintain professional and personal relationships with senior managers with enterprises.
• Willingness to travel.

Fund Accountant

Main Tasks / Areas of Responsibility

1. To ensure all financial reports are timely and accurately generated for management purposes.
2. To establish good working relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
3. To update internal fund report, and investor report.
4. To prepare periodic fund report required by the regulator (SSC and MOF)
5. Do other works as requires of Accounting Departments.
6. Supporting administration job when requested.

Job qualifications, skills and experience

1. Bachelor degree, major in accounting or finance
2. Experience with specialist software and Excel
3. Experience working in fund management or stock market industry is an advantage
4. Good time management skills and attention to detail
